Welcome!

At Long Island Speech and Play, sessions are built around meaningful play, movement, and connection in the natural setting of your child’s home. Children are most engaged when they’re having fun, and that’s when real learning happens. We use evidence-based techniques woven into games, books, crafts, and child-led play so your child feels safe, motivated, and proud of their progress.

Therapy goals are individualized for every child, and family coaching is provided so strategies carry over at home and school. We strongly believe in a collaborative approach with teachers, tutors, and other providers.

Areas of expertise include but are not limited to: Speech Sound (Articulation & Phonology) Therapy, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Receptive and Expressive Language Development (Birth–School Age), Voice Disorders, ADHD & Executive Function–Related Language Support, Literacy & Phonological Awareness.

We currently provide in-home services in Plainview, Syosset, Woodbury, Melville, Old Bethpage, Brookville, Muttontown, Jericho, Bethpage, Dix Hills, Huntington, Hicksville, and nearby/surrounding towns. Tele-therapy is available for those all over New York, Connecticut, and Florida.
